Here are a number of high-quality affiliate programs you may use to make money. They are quite easy to set up, and some of them offer high revenues. Try them out and put your web site to use.
What are affiliate programs? Affiliate programs are essentially
programs that pay you to place their ads on your site. There are many different types of programs that you may
join. I have listed here my favorite programs, which I found to be profitable and useful.
How much money can I make? There is no certain answer for this.
It solely depends upon the amount of traffic your web site receives, the quality of the traffic you receive, the program you are using,
and several other factors.
Are there rules I have to follow? Each program has its own set of rules, called
a Terms of Service. If an affiliate violates their Terms of Service, the affiliate will probably not receive
payment or will be banned from their service.

PopupTraffic - You've gotta love this one. You can choose between using a popup (for .4 cents a view), a popbehind (for .3 cents a view), an exit-pop (for .4 cents a view) or any combination of the three (for up to a whopping 1.1 cents per view). I use this myself. Go ahead, try it, I'm pretty sure you'll like it.
ClickThruTraffic - Wow, this is the highest-paying click-through service I know of. Can bring in up to 20 cents a click! Definitely worth trying out. Basically, you may link to different categories using either their banner or a text link that is related to what category you are linking to and you receive a certain amount of money depending upon which category you chose. You may choose several categories if you wish. The click-through rate on their banners is pretty high.
AllClicks - This is a somewhat interesting affiliate program. It is not the highest paying (was originally at a $0.03 payout, but is now at a $0.02 payout), but the strange thing about this program is that you can link to the ad in virtually ANY WAY YOU WANT! In other words, you could have a text link that says "Next Page" and have it link to the ad area! Quite devious, actually, but effective. An accumulation of $25.00 is required for a check to be sent to you.
SearchTraffic - As stated by the web site, "Add a search box to your web site and start making money from every search. You can use as many search boxes on as many different web sites as you like with the same code. We cut your commission checks every 30 days....not after 3 months like some other search programs." Basically, add a search box to your web site, and for each unique visitor that searches with it, you obtain $0.06 (6 cents). You must accumulate a minimum of $25.00 in order to receive a check.
TextLinks - The FAQ says: "You can use any word or term you like as a text link. The top search results that your text link returns must be bid at or above $0.12 (twelve cents). You get paid $0.06 for a click on ANY of the results." Simply put, it's SearchTraffic, except you're using text links as the search terms.
